"Moisture Management" and
"Wicking" - What is This and How Does it Work ?
When you exercise skin heat and
perspiration may increase up to 500%. This moisture (sweat) is
trapped in between your skin and the fabric; the wetness results in
discomfort and fatigue, hindering performance. Moisture
management fabrics transport sweat away from the body to the outer
layers of the fabric, where the sweat evaporates , leaving the
apparel dry, lightweight and comfortable.
We have partnered with yarn experts to develop three specific
fabrics, each designed for a different purpose. Players may
elect Aquaduct (heavy weight), Aerocool (all round mid-weight) or
Meryl (ultra light with a bit of stretch) for their particular
climate and needs.
Our fabrics feature:
| |
 |
- Brushed inner looped surface resulting in a
lower surface area allowing it to remain dry
- Outer layer has an open capillary filament yarn
with which pulls moisture away, spreading it over a
wider surface area - for maximum evaporation.
- Unlike many "wicking" fabrics that are chemically treated (therefore
wash away), our fabrics has been engineered to wick, wash
after wash.
- Durable and abrasion-resistant
- Lightweight & quick drying
- Comfortable cotton-like soft hand
